March 27 WHAT DRUGS WERE FOUND IN ANNA NICOLE SMITH'S BODY AT THE TIME OF DEATH?
Now that her autopsy report has been released to the public, we can report on the type of drugs Anna Nicole Smith was on. Are you ready? · Trichloroethanol (a sedative and hypnotic) · Trichloroacetic acid (treatment of warts, including genital warts) · Diphenhydramine hydrochloride (an antihistimine and sedative) · Clonazepam (aka Klonopin; used for treating anxiety) · Diazepam (muscle relaxant, used for treating anxiety, insomnia) · Nordiazapam (sedative) · Temazepam (a sedative and hypnotic) · Oxazepam (a muscle relaxant and sedative) · Lorazapam (anti-nausea, sedative, muscle relaxant) THESE WERE ALL FOUND IN HER SYSTEM AT THE TIME OF DEATH. Several days leaving up to her death on February 8, Smith began experiencing chills, vomiting, and her temperature rose to 105 degrees, Dr. Perper said at the press conference Monday. On the morning she passed away, she reported feeling weak, needed help getting to the bathroom, and was found unresponsive and unsconcious hours later. Christina looking hott!I had to post this upto date pic of Christina looking hot, especially as Christina & Britney were once fighting to be the teen Queen! What a difference a few short years make, so who finally won the battle of the Diva's? I'll leave that one for you to answer.
But that Bra? Eeewww! ![]() Barratt Homes continued.Wednesday morning a couple guys from Barratts have aranged to meet Julie to discuss the fiasco. Lets hope they reach a satisfactory conclusion to all this.
I will let you know the outcome when I know, hopefully tomorrow. March 22 NHS. Boston Pilgrim HospitalWell I had yet another operation Monday 19th-guess I must be
falling apart! But again I can't complain about the NHS. So as far as I'm concerned I will say yet again Thank you NHS. A woman in the same time as me found everything she could to moan about, "The foods crap"-I ate the same food & enjoyed it. "The toilets are dirty" - The toilets were cleaned regularly & it was only the patients that used them. "It's so bloody hot in here" -I thought it was comfortable, any cooler & it would have been too cold for her. "The bloody telly costs £3.80p a day!" -Well, there was two telly rooms on the ward & so she went on & on.Well some people will moan no matter what! Sure at times everyone cocks up & mistakes are made, from what I saw they did an admirable job with a skeletal staff. Perhaps if we didn't have to fork out £400 million in the next year for the war on terror we would have an NHS we could all be proud of! Mind you.... still they will moan. Just goes to show, you can't please everyone all the time! Heather MillsJust what or rather who do you believe when the media circus gets involved? Sensationalism sells column inches. Paul McCartney sent Heather flowers from him & Beatrice for her efforts on 'Dancing with the Stars'. I think that goes a long way to put to bed some of the accusations levied by the media. Heree is what Heather told Lar King:
March 16 Who's this amazing woman? This girl is an absolute sweetheart! By an amazing twist of fate I bumped into her in a kebab shop one evening in the sleepy town of Stamford in Lincolnshire. Of course I didn't recognise her immediately & I don't stare anyway-but when she spoke there was NO mistaking who had entered the shop. Like all good photographers, I never had a camera with me-well who takes one into a kebab shop lol? That's now rectified with my 3mp phone In my defence this was some 4 years ago & camera phones were pretty crap then! She was polite, graceful, dignified, extremely feminine & had the time for others. WHO IS SHE? You work it out. ![]() March 10 FASHION ADVICE. Where do I find it? Here in UK the best place to look is good ole Vogue! You can’t beat this Iconic magazine for trends, fashion news, catwalk news, features & many other titbits. It’s also been around a bloody long time! SO yes, they have everything right & a good way to stay ahead if you’re a style-head.
You’ll notice the prices are way out of reach of us mere lowly poor folk, but once you have the ideas in your head you can source a cheaper look & still remain ahead of the game. Elle’s pretty good too with lots of ideas & info but for me it has to be vogue.
The shiningI watched the Shining last week & not seen it for ages. I'd forgotten how freaky this pair were...
So it got me thinking "where are they now & what are they doing?" Lisa and Louise Burns were real-life twin sisters who played the unfortunate victims of an earlier psychopathic caretaker of the Overlook Hotel. The bizarre appearance of the young girls and their disturbing British accent stamped them indelibly into the nightmares of countless generations of filmgoers. How do you top one of the all-time great movie debuts in cinematic history? One way is by never making another movie. Neither girl apparently made another film or even appeared onscreen again except in a VH-1 “Where are They Now?” episode devoted to kids who appeared in horror films.
Instead, both girls went the academic route. Lisa has a degree in Literature, while her sister went on to become a microbiologist. March 07 FASHION

It is the first exhibition of its kind, celebrating the innovation and diversity of current fashion portraiture. In the contemporary fashion world, models, actors, musicians and designers frequently swap places. The exhibition highlights the relationship between fashion and celebrity and illustrates the extraordinary intimacy that often develops between photographer and subject. WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES! ![]() Photographing the female.Photographing the female. The female body has always been a thing of muse and interest to men since long ago. Apart from the obvious reasons relating to sexual attraction, the female body does represent the perfection nature has bestowed upon humans. The best forms of curiosity displayed by men centuries back are the various paintings of women that adorn the walls of great museums all over the world. Mona Lisa is just an example. In this modern age, it is the still camera that has replaced the brush. What is female photography? As the name suggests, the term ‘female photography‘ are the photos taken of the female form in various poses. It doesn’t necessarily always relate to nude photography. Female form photography has been in existence since very long ago and in fact, you have special categories of female form photographers who specialize in this art form and have established practices. Why female photography? As mentioned before, female photography is an evergreen topic of interest for men mostly. But just why is it so popular even after so many centuries?? By now, it seems almost all poses and art expressions of a woman have been captured by the camera. However, it is still in vogue! These are the probable reasons for the sustenance of the female form photography: - A woman’s body has been a symbol of reverence for men. A woman has always stood for beauty, truth and purity beyond the reach of men. Capturing those delicate moments in a single expression creates ripples in the photography market. Some female photography tips Clothes on or no clothes, females have always been a favorite subject of photography. However, it takes talent and perseverance to get the exact expression that would make your photos world famous. If you need some tips about female form photography, then given below are few start ups that would hopefully help you along. - Find the right female for your photograph! Getting a subject for your photograph is a tough job for any photographer - especially if your aim is to take intimate photographs. However, if it is simply facial expressions that matter, then even your mother, daughter, wife or sister would do. It is the expression you want right? I’m sure it would be apparent, that if it involves some degree of nudity, then it is better you hire a professional model who would be more comfortable posing. - Background for stills The background needs special attention when it comes to photographing female forms. Viewers usually relate better to a serene setting that matches her delicate lines. Usually, the studio is the best place to do the shoot as you can adjust your settings and be in control of lighting. If outdoor shooting is your interest, then you’ll need to be prepared with equipment for highlighting contrasts etc. Hint: A darker background gives better clarity to the female form. The lighting is of paramount vitality if you want your images to be perfect. It is always better to have the lighting focused on the female either from behind or the sides. Directly on the face would have two disadvantages; the light on the face would not capture the perfect expression which angled lighting or background lighting would provide. Moreover, light on the face would make any one uncomfortable and promote squinting! - Stay away from her! When you are shooting your female model, make sure you are away from her!! Use a variety of lenses. Avoid moving in too close when you are capturing the most detailed moments of her face, keeping some distance will help immensely. It would make her feel comfortable and result in better and more diversified expressions. Female form photography gives you immense scope to show off the talent that you have as a photographer. Well, they say “There is a woman behind every man’s success”. This cliché can’t be more appropriate than in this sector of photography!! March 03 REPUTABLE MODEL AGENCIESIf you're over 18 & seriously want to become a Glamour Model, then below is a link to view a list of reputable agencies here in the UK. Just because you can't fint an Agency on the list below does not mean they are not to be trusted, but the ones listed have a proven track record. AS ALWAYS, BE CAREFUL & NEVER PAY ANYTHING UP FRONT OR LET THEM TALK YOU INTO PAYING FOR PICTURES ETC. A GENUINE MODEL AGENT DOESNT DO THIS, IT'S A SCAM. March 02 Models ON MY BUS!You know, I have worked with quite a lot of models over the years & a lot of them for many reasons piss me off. Now that could be because they don't bother turning up leaving me out of pocket as I will be waiting around, maybe booked a make-up artist etc. Or it could be the fact they're premadonnas & think they're in charge & always know best, try to tell ME my job etc etc. SO- I think this year I'm gonna buy a bus & fill it with all the models I hate & push it into the sea!-from the top of a cliff! Well, if you keep loosing money-time & energy you too will get pissed off. That said, some are fantistic & a complete joy to work with! Anyway, I now have my bus & will do a tour this summer-collecting passengers along the way. Don't worry I'm sure I can fill all the seats! I have several girls now that want to push my bus! LOOK AT MY BUS, LOOK AT MY BUS! ![]() MODEL AGENCIESTAKEN DIRECTLY FROM THE SUN WEBSITE TO HELP PROMOTE AWARENESS & SAFTY. Rebecca: Sun Journalist AN industrial estate in Swansea is the last place you’d expect to find stardom. But dozens of hopefuls — ranging from glam blondes to mums with pretty toddlers — turned up to audition as models and extras at a business park hotel after seeing adverts in local newspapers. Posing as a wannabe, I joined the queue. After an hour wait, I was called for an interview by a woman called Sam. She took a Polaroid of my face and said it was the best she’d taken that day. After lots of flattery, she said: “We could definitely get you photographic modelling work, even catwalk.” The ads promised a free photoshoot but Sam said that was only after they took me on — they needed £179 up front. I agreed and she whipped out a credit card machine. Then I was whisked off for my “photoshoot” — six cheesy snaps. In less than five minutes, it was over. A month on, I’ve heard nothing and have received no pictures. MODEL AGENCIESTAKEN DIRECTLY FROM THE SUN WEBSITE TO HELP PROMOTE AWARENESS & SAFTY. Laura: Former Model I WAS a commercial model doing adverts and catalogue work for three years and know how the industry should work. For a start, I know that at 5ft 4in I am far too short to be a fashion model. But Diesel, who are not an model agency but promise to help me “break into the modelling world” tell me something different. They say I do indeed have potential as a fashion model – but that I’d need professional pictures. They offer to arrange a shoot for me . . . but don’t mention until after the photo session that the snaps will cost £800. At the photographer’s studio, there are plenty of parents whose daughters are dreaming of being a model. One mum has travelled with her daughter all the way from Bristol. I have been told that the shoot will take around three hours. In fact, it takes just 40 minutes. It turns out that the rest of the time is used to hit me with the hard sell. Straight after the shoot I’m shown the pictures. They’re nice but really not professional model quality. Still, the rep tells me an agency is absolutely bound to take me on as a fashion model if I buy them. Then she tells me the price; ten pictures will set me back an unbelievable £500 – rising to £800 for 16 pictures. The sales pitch is really aggressive and she says no model agency will take me on with less than ten pictures. The clincher? If I don’t buy them today they will be deleted. Eventually she agrees to sell me three photos for £150 which are put on a CD – I don’t even receive any prints. The next day Diesel send me a list of agencies I could have found myself in the telephone directory. After that I’m on my own. It all leaves me feeling sick – as if I’ve been set up and ripped off. A DIESEL SPOKESMAN SAID: “If you work as a model at some stage you will be expected to pay for photos. We are one of the best studios in London for doing what we do and we are very careful not to make any promises. “We also insist anyone under 22 is accompanied by a parent.” ![]() MODEL AGENCIESTAKEN DIRECTLY FROM THE SUN WEBSITE TO HELP PROMOTE AWARENESS & SAFTY. MOST girls have dreamed of sashaying down a catwalk. But pushy modelling agencies who demand upfront fees are cashing in on these fantasies. A recent survey of aspiring models found that, 12 months after handing over their cash, 90 per cent were unhappy with the agencies they had signed to. Most of them were impressionable young girls and last week the Department of Trade and Industry announced they were considering a ban on rogue agents taking upfront fees on false promises of fame. But action could take years. We sent a magazine model, a former commercial model and a journalist to investigate. Here CHARLEE LYNN, LAURA STOTT and REBECCA LEY reveal agencies that promise to make you a star . . . at a price. Charlee: Magazine Model Charlee Lynn took photos that were good enough to get her shoots for magazines including FHM and Love It, high-profile advertising jobs and even a role in a Sugababes music video. But they weren’t good enough for the BNC Management modelling agency. They said they needed to take their own photos, which would cost the model £290 — and demanded a £140 deposit in CASH. We sent Charlee to the London agency with the same photos that she has used to secure scores of jobs. The company’s agent told her they wouldn’t be able to get her any work at all with them. Instead, the model — whose advertising work includes campaigns for Triumph and Figleaves lingerie, PC World and Sony — was told she needed to pay for a new portfolio costing at least £290 before the agency would represent her. BNC told Charlee they could book her in for a photoshoot with a company called Spot Studios — but she would have to pay a deposit of £140 immediately. When Charlee asked if she could pay on her credit card, she was told they would only take cash because the Visa machine was broken and it was taking a lot of time to replace it. During her appointment, Charlee saw at least three other aspiring models leave their interviews and go straight to a nearby cash machine to get money. NOTE: The Spot studios is on Kingsland Road, East London and carries out work for Bari Carr of BNC Management. We would like to make it clear it should NOT be confused with Spot Studios Ltd, which is the licensed and legally registered name of photography studios in Canonbury Yard, London. BARI CARR OF BNC MANAGEMENT SAID: “I don’t tell anyone to buy a portfolio — I tell them what photographs I want to use. “I give them a choice to get the photos I prefer using, or alternatively they can go away. “Just because she’s a professional model doesn’t mean you can’t have bad photos.” How To Find A Genuine Agent ROGUE firms should not put off modelling hopefuls from chasing their dreams — but there are a few golden rules to avoid being ripped off. Here Lindsey Baldock, head booker at Nevs — one of the UK’s top modelling agencies — gives her best tips: ONLY DEAL WITH REGISTERED AGENCIES. It is easy to find agencies registered with the Association of Model Agents. The AMA are a professional trade organisation who regulate the modelling industry. They also produce a list of the names and addresses of genuine agencies. To get a copy, call 09068 517 644 (calls cost 60p per minute from BT landlines) or send a stamped self-addressed envelope to AMA, 11-29 Fashion St, London E1 6PX. SEND IN YOUR OWN PHOTOS. 1. Email or post some pictures to each agency — and they can be your own home snaps. 2. Keep your look natural and include one head shot and one full-length photo. 3. Also include your age, height and measurements. If you have potential they’ll ask you to go and see them. 4. Or check if they have a call-in time for new faces and just go in. DO NOT HAND OVER ANY MONEY. Never spend money on so called “professional portfolios” before the agency have found you work — this is a total waste of money. Experienced bookers only need to see the person in a holiday snap to know if she or he has the potential to make a model. When they ask a professional photographer to take pictures for your portfolio, there will be a charge for the prints — but a genuine agency will never ask you for the money upfront. You will only be charged after you have been paid for modelling work, and the cost will be deducted from those earnings. If the agency do take you on, you’ll be asked to fill out a joining form — and there should be no charge at this stage either. |
